EDON Corporation produced over two miles of fiberglass cornice for this continuing care retirement community in Rockville, Maryland. EDON was able to utilize standard cornice profiles to save the architect and owner money from the originally designed metal cornice design, as well as allow the building to have the same design intent. EDON integrated custom applications into the project as well where the design required them.
EDON fabricated the column covers, shutters, dormer trim, bay window panels and radius molding applications in addition to the cornice profiles in this project, demonstrating the versatility in handling a scope of this magnitude.
EDON Fiberglass is one of the largest manufacturers of architectural FRP in the nation. The family owned company has been in business for nearly a half of a century, and can also provide polyurethane millwork, GRG and GFRC to allow the contractor and architect to use EDON as a single source for all architectural ornamentation on a project.
